Going "Green-ch" before Christmas

Dress ebay
Cardigan Primark
Stockings H&M
Shoes Salt & Pepper

Apologies for the crappy Christmas tinsels, casually wrapped around my staircase :P
This is me playing with temporary hair dye and being quite satisfied with my cheap aztec midi dress, right before going out for Christmas shopping.

I really like the colour combo of my eye-shadow and lip gloss.
Beginning to wonder why I don't use lip gloss as often as I should, although I have a low tolerance for hair stuck on sticky lips.

Comb in temporary hair dye from Urban Outfitters (available here).
The dye comes in four colours: green, pink, blue and red. Since my hair is pre-bleached, the colour can be washed off easily in one go. A nice choice of dip-dye DIY without the commitment, the only downside is that  the dye came in two small packets and was only enough for the ends, as pictured.

Happy New Year everyone! xxx

Dark Lippy and Shearling Vest

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas (this song covered by Michael Buble has been stuck in my head for a while)!

Term's over, meaning I finally get to catch up with all the outfit posts I'm supposed to have made in late November/early December. So what I am wearing in the pictures might be a little too autumn-y :P
Anyways, I really love the shearling vest and the M.A.C. dark burgundy lipstick, which I used repeatedly in the following. Enjoy!

I know it's thanksgiving but I still wanna talk about Halloween

Finally got time to post about my preparation for this year's Halloween! Instead of spending my Halloween in a club like last year, this year I went to the "After Dark Halloween Special" event at the Barbican Centre.

The dress code for the event is "black tie" but costumes were also accepted so I decided to go for a vampy but dressy look. For this look I basically used everything I already have - a lace dress, dark eye make-up, dark lipstick - and only purchased the headpiece and a pair of black gloves (which I didn't get to wear, sadly). And this is the ending result:

Different Ways to Wear Your Snugly Sweater

Hi people! It's been a month since I last posted as life was getting hectic with school work and internship applications. These outfits were actually worn in October when the weather was slightly warmer so I could walk around without a coat most of the time, allowing me to make good use of my angora mix sweater which kept me warm and cozy. I'm sure you've seen me wearing the sweater a million times, so here're just two of the various combinations I played with. I hope it inspires you to do something different with your sweaters!
